Cidentro Still Cider 2018
An exclusive dry, still vintage cider from the finest English cider apples using 100% freshly pressed juice, it’s matured for 6 months for flavours to fully develop, giving an elegance of style and depth of character which can be enjoyed in the same way as wine.
Cidentro Still Cider is gluten free, vegetarian and vegan friendly and only contains sulphites for freshness.
Pilton Pomme Pomme
Somerset-grown quince, co-fermented with keeved* bittersweet cider apples. This fruity cider brings together these cider apples with their pome family third cousin, the quince. The unique tart astringency of the quince is balanced here by the natural fruity sweetness of Pilton’s classic keeved cider.
*Keeving is an artisan cider-making technique used to create a natural cider without sweetening or pasteurisation. Wild yeasts, cool cellars and low nutrient orchards are all key elements in the process. Only 100% fresh pressed cider apples are used, no sugar, no water, and nothing else.
Once Upon A Tree Cabernet Co-Ferment Rosé Cider 2018
Building on a passion to raise the profile of cider as a wine alternative, this cider forms part of a range which combine wine-making techniques and grapes or grape by-products with cider. Made from a single vintage, containing 100% fruit, never from concentrate. The style and presentation of the cider is designed to share with family, friends, and food!
Dabinett apple juice was pressed and incorporated with the red wine skins of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Cortis grapes after fermenting for red wine.
The skins were fermented and left in contact with the cider for over 3 months to extract colour and flavour into the cider.
After pressing and settling, the co-ferment was tirage-bottled for full secondary, in-bottle, fermentation and left to ferment and mature on lees for 9 months before riddling and disgorging.
Brännland Pernilla Perle 2017
This year’s Pernilla Perle differs from earlier years in that it is drier and has a higher profile of apple clarity with more outspoken tannins. 2017 was one of the hardest years for decades for apple growing in Sweden with heavy frost and hail in the spring. As a result, the 2017 harvest has given our cider a rather more austere, yet elegant and more complex style compared to previous vintages. The balance between sugar, alcohol and fruit has been joined by a length that holds great promise for future development and ageing.
