The Newt Sweet Somerset Cyder 2018

A great introduction to cyder, this Sweet Somerset Cyder from the “Newt Blended Range” has a bright taste with full and fruity flavours. To retain the maximum flavour and aroma of the cyder, the apple juice is cold fermented to create a well-balanced sweet cyder.

Cidentro House Cider 2020

A lightly sparkling, dry cider made using 100% pressed juice from Yarlington Mill, Dabinett, Chisel Jersey, Michelin and Lord Derby apples.

Riestra ‘Sidra Natural’

Starting with indigenous Asturian apples picked from selected orchards, this tasty natural cider is a perfect example of traditional Asturian ways and methods of cidermaking.

The presence of sediments in the bottom of the bottle is entirely normal as the cider has not undergone any kind of filtration process. Indeed, it’s recommended that, before opening, the bottle is turned upside down and gently shaken to break up and distribute any such sediments.

Welsh Mountain Redstreak 2020

Made mostly from the lovely, soft, bittersweet Somerset Redstreak apple, complemented by the acidity of the fresh and highly-scented Brown’s apple. This makes for a perfect for early Spring bottling and a pleasant lower in alcohol cider option.

The Newt Sweet Somerset Cyder 2018

coloured, allowed to ferment over 4 weeks to create a fragrant and floral aroma, its intrinsic sweetness balanced by its acidity on the palate.

Cidentro House Cider 2020

Golden-hued, well-balanced tannins and a crisp taste.

Riestra ‘Sidra Natural’

Amber coloured with a nose of clean, fresh, ripe apples, this is a well-balanced dry and refreshing cider with plenty of body and taste.

Welsh Mountain Redstreak 2020

A nose of vanilla rum sweetness with notes of apricot, juniper, jasmine and cedar. Pressed in 2020 and bottled young to allow the residual sugar to ferment in the bottle to create a light effervescence. The acidity from the Brown’s apple and the light natural carbonation complement the soft tannins of the Somerset Redstreak to create a beautifully balanced cider.

Food Pairing

The Newt Sweet Somerset Cyder 2018

A great pairing with pungent charcuterie, like Sobrasada from the Mediterranean (it counteracts the smokiness wonderfully) or a pungent soft cheese like Baronet Reblochon.

Cidentro House Cider 2020

To be enjoyed on its own, this cider’s attractive dryness makes it an ideal partner for a Melton Mowbray pork pie, especially given its Leicestershire origins, or charcuterie, sausages and belly pork, as well as cheese.

Seafood, shellfish, charcuterie and all types of tapas and hors d’oeuvres.

Welsh Mountain Redstreak 2020

Pairs easily with most foods: great with a BBQ, roast or stir fry, its acidity and sparkle also nicely cuts through heavier dishes.
