Brännland Iscider 2018
The 2018 ice cider vintage is marked by one of the finest Swedish apple harvests of the past decade. The juice at pressing showed unusually high sugar levels without compromising the balance between acidity, sweetness and body that are the hallmarks of the vintage. The spring season fermentations were soft and harmonious and carried through in oak to an even higher degree than previous years.
We believe that Brännland Iscider 2018 has the potential of a classic vintage with exceptional ageing potential.
Queen Of The Brue 2018
A natura fruit wine made exclusively from quince, hand picked in orchards on the banks of the river Brue in Somerset. Sterile filtered, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan friendly.
The Newt Yarlington Mill 2019
The Yarlington Mill apple was discovered in 1898 growing from a wall by the mill-race in the village of Yarlington, less than a mile from the grounds of the Newt’s estate. The apples for this Yarlington Mill cyder are sourced within a 3 mile radius, and create a deep, sweet cyder balanced by rich tannins.

Tasting Notes
Brännland Iscider 2018
Appearance: light golden, brilliant clarity. Nose: raspberries, wet stone in spring rain, peach and rose blossom. Palate: glossy soft viscosity, juicy ripe strawberry, watermelon, black cherry and a light finish with touches of honey.
Queen Of The Brue 2018
The quince’s rose-like floral aroma and unique tartness make a truly distinctive, full-flavoured sparkling drink with a long fruity finish.
The Newt Yarlington Mill 2019
Dark amber in colour, with aromas of gooseberry, baked apple, and ripe apricot, its natural apple sugars have created a sweet cyder, well-balanced by full tannic astringency.
Eden Heirloom Reserve
Beautiful balance of sweetness, acidity and fruit, with notes of baked apple, pineapple, citrus and caramel.
Made from more than 15 European and American heirloom varieties from juice 100% that’s been naturally cryo-concentrated outdoors in the cold winter weather of Vermont followed by slow cold fermentation, arrested using cold temperature and numerous racking to leave residual sweetness. Aged for four years in a mix of barrels – both used French oak white Burgundy barrels, and American oak barrels used for ageing apple brandy. Filtered before bottling.
The apples used in this cider are: Roxbury Russet, Blue Pearmain, Esopus Spitzenburg, Calville Blanc D’hiver, McIntosh, Orleans Reinette, Hudson’s Golden Gem, Empire, Black Oxford, Rhode Island Greening, Ashmead’s Kernel, Newtown Pippin, Baldwin, Northern Spy, Belle de Boskoop.
Food Pairing
Brännland Iscider 2018
Traditional dessert wine territory: cheese, foie gras, crème brûlée, tarte tatin – but also a good match with savoury food where the refreshing high acidity of the ice cider matches.
Queen Of The Brue 2018
Goes wonderfully well with pâtés, cold meats such as salami, meats such as lamb and pork, and strong cheese.
The Newt Yarlington Mill 2019
A wonderful pairing with the likes of blue cheese (especially a Bath Blue Cheese).
Eden Heirloom Reserve
Blue cheese, nuts, dried fruit, pâtés such as foie gras, or creamy or cake desserts – crème brûlée, cheese cake, bread pudding, almond cake, fruit and nut tarts – tarte tatin, pear tart, walnut torte, or anything with salted caramel sauce.
