A lightly sparkling wild-fermented perry made mainly from Oldfield, Blakeney Red, Huffcap and Gin pear varieties at Killahora’s cidery near Cork. The fermentation is completed in bottle in a ‘pet-nat’ style (naturally sparkling with less fizziness) to allow the taste of the pears to shine through in their purest form.
Nothing is rushed at Killahora Orchards: the fruit is hand-picked and this perry is made in small batches, then allowed to ferment and mature which creates complexity and real nuances of flavour.
Killahora Orchards Poiré Fine Perry is gluten free and vegetarian and vegan friendly.
