Description
‘Origins’ is a nod to the shared DNA of apples across time and continents. This cider is made from varieties treasured for their contributions to cider, baking, sauce, and a few for eating out-of-hand.
All the apples for this cider come from small orchards, and consist of historic English and New England varieties.

Tasting Notes
Notes of apple sauce, biscuit and green hay, the apple blend used provides a balance of aromatic fruit character, tannin, acidity, and enough original sugar to achieve sufficient alcohol for body, and of course for pleasure. Fermented using wild and cultured yeasts, then aged and blended, followed by bottle conditioning to produce a classic dry and refreshing cider.
The apples used in this cider are: Kingston Black, Roxbury Russet, Esopus Spitzenburg, McIntosh, Dabinett, Yarlington Mill, Northern Spy, Empire, Black Oxford, Blue Pearmain, Rhode Island Greening, and Franklin.
Food Pairing
Hors d’oeuvre, steamed shellfish, fish and chips.
