Gospel Green
Cider from England (Hampshire)
The Blackmoor Estate’s Gospel Green Cyder uses the double fermentation ‘traditional method’ to produce a delicious and sophisticated sparkling cider. Providing the perfect alternative to Champagne, Prosecco and sparkling wine.
Gospel Green began making cyders in 1990 when James Lane returned from working in Épernay, France. Inspired by Champagne, he set out to create England’s finest traditional method cider which undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle to create a natural fizz.
Blackmoor Estate’s apples have been used to produce this fine cider for the past 30 years and, with Gospel Green now within the Blackmoor Estate family, the original recipe is used to this day.
The cyder house is less than a mile away from the orchards where our eating and culinary apples are hand-picked ensuring supreme quality and taste.
Wines by any other name, but made from apples, not grapes.
